FRIDA KAHLO

Wednesday, December 22, 2021 starting at 09:30AM in the Novi Sad Children’s Cultural Center, a group of nine students from the study program Hotel Management (III year), Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, realized the practical part of the exam “Animation and Logistics in tourism and hospitality” under the leadership of prof. Dr. Andjelija Ivkov Dzigurski and assistant dr. Igor Stamenkovic.

The project called “I am Frida Kahlo, and I paint on canvas everything I care about” aimed to show a part of fine arts through the artist Frida Kahlo. The students first introduced the students of the 3rd grade of the elementary school “Žarko Zrenjanin” to the life and work of Frida Kahlo through a short drama. Afterwards, through a practical workshop the students tried to be small artists drawing either self-portraits or Frida herself. At the end of the workshop, they received sweet packets as a gift.

Like all previous events, this one is of a humanitarian nature, where funds raised from donors and sponsors were directed to the association “Your World”, which takes care of children with autism.
