She graduated in 1998, obtained her master’s degree in 2001, and defended her doctoral thesis titled “Research on the Behavior of Potential Tourists in Choosing a Tourist Destination: A Case Study of Bačka Brani” in 2007 at the Department of Geography, Tourism, and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad.

Head of numerous expert working groups, committees, and commissions for the improvement of tourism in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia (Working Group for Drafting Amendments to the Tourism Law; Working Group for the Improvement of Spa Tourism; Working Group for the Improvement of Rural Tourism and Rural Development; Committee for Negotiations on the Conclusion of a Collective Agreement for the Public Enterprise “Ski Resorts of Serbia”; Commission for Taking the Professional Exam for Tourist Guide and Tourist Companion). 

Until 2014, she was the President of the Council for Investment Affairs in the Field of Tourism, Hospitality, and Spas of the Capital Investments Fund of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. In May 2014, she was appointed as the State Secretary for Tourism in the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia.
