Short biography:

Born in 1970 in Novi Sad. Graduated in 1993 at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Philosophy, Department of English Language and Literature and holds B.A. in Teaching English Language and Literature. She obtained the MA in Philology in 2002 at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology, Department of English Studies with the topic ‘Present perfect and present perfect progressive and their equivalents in the Serbian language’. She obtained the PhD in Philology in 2021 at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philology, where she defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Contrastive analysis of adjective+noun and noun+noun collocations in the corpus of tourism texts in English and Serbian”.

Head of the Centre for Languages for Specific Purposes, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hospitality, accredited by the London Chamber of Commerce (LCCI International Qualifications). Successfully trained several generations of participants who obtained internationally recognized English for Tourism and English for Business certificates.
  • 2007 – 2015. Simultaneous interpreter at the international postgraduate studies program (MBA) at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad in cooperation with UBI from Brussels.
  • Independent written and oral translation and proofreading.
