Aims and Scope
Geographica Pannonica is a scientific journal dedicated to the publication of high-quality research in geography and geosciences. The journal aims to provide a platform for the presentation of original scientific results and review papers in a broad range of geographic disciplines.
The journal welcomes manuscripts in the following fields:
- Physical Geography: geology, geomorphology, climatology, hydrology, pedology, and related disciplines;
- Human Geography: demography, urban geography, economic geography, social geography, political geography, environmental geography, spatial planning, geographic information systems (GIS), and related fields;
- Regional Geography.
The journal publishes:
- Original scientific articles;
- Review articles,
- Editorials;
- Short communications;
- Editorials are written by editors, editorial board members, or other senior researchers by invitation.
- Short communications are intended to encourage authors to present views, comments, and opinions related to an important emerging issue, to discuss a debatable topic, or to point to future research trends and directions.
- Special issues may also be published when based on a coherent collection of papers presented at scientific conferences, meetings, or workshops.
