About journal

In 1971, the professors of the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad started the Proceedings of the Faculty Papers. The Proceedings included a geography issue, which was started by the professors and assistants of the Chair of Geography led by Professor dr Branislav Bukurov. Professor Bukurov was the first editor of the issue.

Although in the past forty years, the Chair changed its name from the Institute of Geography to the present Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, the issues of the Researches Review of the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management were continuously published each year,

The topics of the Researches Review of the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management comprise diverse areas of geographical knowledge from physical and socio-geographical characteristics of space, then regional aspects, to papers on the topics of tourism and complementary fields (hunting tourism, hotel management and gastronomy).

The Researches Review of the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management is a journal which is valuable for the introduction of a host of scientific problems and processes in geographical science. The readers can use the papers for further research, applied science and for dissemination of scientific knowledge.
