Lecture title: Adapting to digital distractions while travelling with calm technology

Dr. Uglješa Stankov is Associate Professor at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Sciences, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management. His main research interests are eTourism, smart tourism, spatial information systems, calm technology and mindful travel experiences. For this purpose, he actively cooperates with the researchers and professional organizations and currently participates in several international projects. He has published three books (Information and communication technologies in tourism and hospitality, Geographical information systems and Web marketing in the promotion of Vojvodina region) and over 100 research papers. He is a member of International Federation for IT and Travel & Tourism, a member of international editorial board of Journal of Tourism Intelligence and Smartness and an active reviewer for international journals such as Tourism Management, Current Issues in Tourism, International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and Open Geosciences.
