Hiking and visiting Serbian villages - Trešnjica gorge

29th September (Thursday). This tour is great option if you would like to go off the beaten path and explore the most interesting mountain ranges near Belgrade and Novi Sad. Beside nature, this may be perfect opportunity for you to experience life in old villages of Serbia.

In the early morning hours we start our journey from Novi Sad and travel to Valjevo Mountains in Western Serbia. This wonderful natural environment is perfectly suited to all visitors. There are many off road paths along mountain ridges, small mountain rivers, as well as accessible and untouched waterfalls and gorges. During day we will make a stop in village household and step by natural waterfalls and viewpoints above huge limestone rocks.

The entire area of Western Serbia is a place of tiny settlements and isolated villages. Many historical places hide interesting stories from different periods. From ancient Paleolithic and people living in caves to the old Roman Empire cities, graves from middle century and Second World War monuments.
