Caving & winery tour

29th September (Thursday). From the early morning hours we start with transfer from Novi Sad to Perućac and after short preparation for caving activity, we continue with 3 hour caving through cave long 1km.

Nearest caves to Belgrade & Novi Sad are located in Western Serbia, near Valjevo city. There are several different options for caving suitable to beginners. All of these caves are different, from 500m to 1km long, with underground rivers, huge galleries and remains of past civilizations (Neolithic, Paleolithic, Middle Age, etc.).

Going through the non-arranged part of the cave, we will use ropes and special equipment for caving, climbing and descending on the rocks. Every participant will get speleo-wetsuit, boots, helmet and flashlight (lamp). We will not deal with great and difficult obstacles, this cave is especially chosen for the first caving experience. In the afternoon, after exploring of cave passages, lunch and rest, we will start with hiking in nearby area. Our goal is visiting small local winery where we will have opportunity to try local vine.

After hiking activity we will continue to “Divčibare Mountain” where we have dinner and nice evening with participants from other after-conference tours. Overnight is organised in hotel Divčibare.

30th September (Friday). In the morning we will start transfer to Novi Sad via “Nikola Tesla” airport near Belgrade. Expected arrival at the airport is at 11.30 and to Novi Sad at 13.00.
