About Conference
On behalf of the INQUA Loess focus group and Local Organizing Committee, it is an honour and a pleasure to invite, you to a international conference on loess research entitled “ED@80: Loess in China and Europe - A Tribute to Edward Derbyshire“, to be held in Novi Sad, Serbia, 27-30 September 2012
Edward Derbyshire was a pioneer who promoted international scientific collaboration, especially between Chinese and European loess researchers. Following Ed's spirit, our task is to promote loess research on the global scale. For this reason, the title of the conference highlights the huge Eurasian loess belt. However, it is in no way restricted to those regions and the participation of colleagues who work on all temporal and other aspects of dust deposition around the world will be most welcome to attend and contribute.
We look forward to welcoming you to Novi Sad.
