Within the subject Animation in Tourism, on 24.01.2011, a thematic evening was held under the name "Night of Brazilian Sensation". A group of students from the Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad presented the charms, rhythm and rich culture of Brazil. The students led the guests through the unique atmosphere of this South American country, talking about its customs, recognizable symbols and spiritual wealth, accompanied by traditional and modern Brazilian music and dance performances, as well as a diverse gastronomic offer and authentic specialties. In the rich cultural, artistic and entertainment program, prize games and surprises were also organized for all visitors. This event was honoured by the presence of esteemed guests, among whom were His Excellency Ambassador Alessandro Ador and representatives of the Embassy Ružica Andrejević and Ljubomir Orlović, the Rector of the University of Novi Sad, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vesković, as well as the Vice-Deans of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Dušanka Perišić and Prof. Dr. Slobodanka Pajević.

The funds collected from monetary donations in the amount of 148,000.00 dinars, as well as numerous in-kind donations, are intended for the Department of Hematology at the Children's Diseases Clinic within the Institute for Health Protection of Children and Youth of Vojvodina in Novi Sad.
