On Sunday, 25.01.2009, at the club "Route 66", starting at 20:00, a thematic evening was held within the event: "Animation in Tourism of the City of Novi Sad 2009" titled "Greece in Novi Sad". A group of 14 third-year students from the departments: Manager in Tourism, Manager in Hotel Management and Manager in Gastronomy, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, carried out the practical part of the exam in the course Animation in Tourism. During the multi-hour program, with music, dance and a gastronomic offer, the guests were presented with the history, cultural and folklore heritage, as well as contemporary tourist destinations of Greece.

The guests of the evening were representatives of the Association of Greeks in Serbia "Riga od Fere", professors, assistants, donors, parents and friends who came to support this humanitarian project.
The thematic evening was of a humanitarian nature and all the money collected from donors, tickets, as well as gifts brought by guests (sweets, clothes, hygiene products, school supplies and other) were forwarded to the Home for Children with Developmental Disabilities in Veternik.
