Biography

Date and Place of Birth: August 27, 1985, Pakrac

She graduated in 2008 from the Department of Geography, Tourism, and Hospitality at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad. In the same year, she enrolled in doctoral studies in the field of geo-sciences, which she successfully completed by defending her dissertation titled “The Danube as a Transportation Artery and Axis of Development in the Republic of Serbia” in 2015. During her doctoral studies, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, which contributed to her academic advancement and research engagement.

Since 2017, she has been actively dedicated to improving education and developing the methodology of geography teaching. She further expanded her research interests in the field of digital competence development in education, which culminated in her second doctoral dissertation titled “Digital Competences of Geography Teachers,” defended in 2025.
