On Saturday, 24.01.2010, at the restaurant "Trag" in Petrovaradin, starting at 19:30, a thematic evening was held within the event: "Animation in Tourism of the City of Novi Sad 2009" titled "Sok kicsi sokra megy – Small Things Make This Evening". A group of 7 third-year students from the Manager in Gastronomy department, Department of Geography, Tourism and Hotel Management, Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad, carried out the practical part of the exam in the course Animation in Tourism. The performance of this thematic evening was financially supported by the Provincial Secretariat for Education, project no.: 106-451-04720/2008-0.
During the program, the guests were presented with the history, cultural and folklore heritage and traditional gastronomy, as well as contemporary tourist destinations of Hungary, along with entertaining sketches, music and dance. After the program, a quiz was organized for the guests, where the winners received appropriate prizes. The evening was completed with a rich gastronomic offer (cold appetizer: Hungarian cubes and cold cuts; caraway soup; warm appetizer: dough with cheese; main course: tokány with mushrooms and a side dish; dessert: gomboce).
The guests of the evening were the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vesković, professors, assistants, donors, parents and friends who came to support this humanitarian project. The thematic evening, like the previous one, was of a humanitarian nature and all the money collected from donors and tickets was intended for children at the preschool institution "Radosno detinjstvo" for the purchase of an air conditioner for the facility in Telep in Novi Sad.
Welcome to our thematic evenings!
