Thanks to the MEKST conference, from 23 to 25 November, Novi Sad will host tourism and hospitality students from the entire region and beyond for the 5th time.

At this year's MEKST we will deal with:

• the application of digital marketing in tourism,
• new trends in hospitality, as well as
• the tourism of the future

Participants will have the opportunity to listen to lectures by very important people from the world of tourism and hospitality, willing to share their experiences with us, namely:

• Robert Gasser, General Manager of the Courtyard Marriot Belgrade City Center hotel
• Rob Davidson, Managing Director of MICE Knowledge – a consulting firm from London specialized in research, education and training in the field of business tourism
• Paul Papadimitrou, founder of the company INTELLIGENCR from London, an expert in the field of how technology affects our global human identity
• Ana First, Sales Director of the hotel corporation Falkensteiner Hotels and Residences in Southeast Europe
• Ian Yeoman, a futurist specialized in the fields of travel and tourism
• Mirjana Prljević, international advisor for strategic positioning, owner and director of the company TESLIANUM
• Darko Bosančić, Regional Business Development Director EMEA
• Semir Musić, founder of the digital marketing agency – LILIUM DIGITAL
• Uglješa Stankov, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad, specialized in research in the field of strategic roles of information technologies in tourism experiences and marketing

For the first time in the Master Hall at the Novi Sad Fair, the MEKST conference will bring together young people who actively want to learn and research about their chosen profession, to build their own attitudes, to be surrounded by a cheerful spirit and positive energy, and to think about their future. Accommodation for participants is provided in the strict city center.

In the business world, contact with people is of exceptional importance, so MEKST aims to connect students, spread collegiality and gain close friendships. The largest conference in Europe of this character in the previous four years has gathered over 3000 participants, and this year we expect over 1000 participants.

As an innovation, during the conference, the first Career Fair will be held as part of which faculty institutions and hotel corporations will present themselves, at whose stands participants will have the opportunity to inform themselves about future internships and employment. In addition to the educational part, guests will have the opportunity to get to know the cultural and historical beauties of the city, which will further enrich the content of their stay.

Registration fees:

• 25 EUR – includes a city tour, lecture registration fee, two coffee breaks, refreshments during the break between lectures, conference working material, tickets for the night party, and a certificate

On this occasion, the fifth year of the MEKST conference will have special significance and charm, knowing that we have managed to maintain and improve the quality of the event, but also that we have the opportunity to be surrounded by students from almost 15 different countries. Let Novi Sad on 23, 24 and 25 November celebrate this anniversary of ours and yours, let these days pass in the sign of education, entertainment and connecting all young people.
