At their own discretion, a group of eleven students organized and realized the complete program of the thematic evening titled "Irish Heartbeat". The thematic evening was held on Sunday, 18.05.2008, and consisted of several parts, within which the history, folklore characteristics, culture, customs and life in Ireland were presented to the guests of the club "Trema".

Those present had the opportunity, along with the music of the Novi Sad band "Sober Paddies", to taste gourmet specialties such as cheese-stuffed zucchini, Irish stew, and to sweeten it all with a traditional Irish cake. These gourmet specialties were prepared and served by students of the Department from the Manager in Hotel Management and Manager in Gastronomy departments.

The guests of the evening were the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Miroslav Vesković, many professors and assistants, sponsors, as well as other guests, whom the students chose themselves. In this way, the students showed creativity, and numerous awards were given to the participants of the games and the quiz that were an integral part of the animation program.

Welcome to our thematic evenings!
